A Facebook business page is a place where a company, organization, business or a public figure can engage with other Facebook users who could be their potential clients, customers or anybody whose shown interest and has liked their business page.

After reaching 25 fans, please secure your username right away. Securing your username gives your page a much more polished look, especially if you are using them in your online and offline marketing. When creating your username keep it in mind that you can never change it or transfer it to any of your other accounts. So, be very careful in creating one. But the good thing is you can change your business page name anytime.
Tip: If it seems that you had created a very long username here is a tip instead of putting http://www.facebook.com/REtoolz you can do http://www.FB.com/REtoolz. Facebook has been abbreviated to FB in this example. It will still bringing you to the same business page but saving you some time and valued space when using it on any marketing campaign you have such as your email signature or business cards.
Make yourself visible as an Admin of your page.
When you have featured yourself as an admin of the page your Facebook personal profile will be posted on the lower left side of the business page. Therefore, the business page that you admin can also be seen under your personal page and in the “About” page if you have switched to Facebook Timeline already.
Tips: Go to “Featured” then click Edit Featured Page owners. You can also add an another facebook user as part of your Admin if you ever need help managing your business page.
Your top 5 favorites liked pages displayed on your Business page
Now, if you see on top where it says Edit Featured likes the five pages you had selected will be the ones visible on the left side of your business page only.
These are your top 5 best pages that you are a fan of. It will just rotate back and forth and change on its own.This is something to show your potential clients what are you really passionate about. This could strike up a conversation in one of your fans that might have same interests as you, another connection points for that.
Creating a Landing page for your new fans
When someone clicks your business page link where does it take them? To your Facebook page wall, info, insights, photos or contact forms?
Tips: If you want them to land on a specific page go to Edit page < click Default Landing Tab< click save changes. After doing so who ever visits your business page who is not a fan will be directed to the tab you have created.
Apps for real estate that were easy to install
Facebook has made it easy for anyone to create a tab for their pages. I found that Roost, The Realtor app and Contact Me were very easy to install. Roost will ask you to create an account with them. They have free offers by the way and, of course, the Realtor app will request your member ID. By the way do not forget to connect your Facbook busines page to your Twitter account , if you ever have one. It will simultenaeously feed your Twitter account on whatever you post from your Facebook business page account. It will somehow save you time from going to one social platform to another. Just click > Edit page and go to Resources and you will see a Twitter Icon there that state ” Link your page to Twitter”.
